Anime Avatar Fighting Champion Tiers by Support Value
Rank hatches by coin, gem, luck, and damage — then craft duplicates instead of hoarding weak pets.
Champions in Anime Avatar Fighting are the pet-like layer under your Avatars. You hatch them, you craft duplicates into higher rarity, and you equip the ones that print resources or add damage while you idle. They are not the summoned fighters on the Avatar rankings. Rank Champions by support value versus raw combat, not by how close the model sits to the swordsman or shinobi key art.
This page is the ranking half of the Champion story. The system half — hatch, craft, equip, trade — lives on the Champion roster. Start from the Tier List Hub if you still need the four Avatar questions. Potion up from the codes list and the potion rewards page before a hatch session.
Support value beats trophy combat
A Champion that raises coins, gems, luck, or damage while Auto Attack runs is doing work even when you are in a 10-player server doing something else. A Champion that only adds a small combat animation and no economy is a trophy. Trophies look fine in the inventory. They do not unlock the next world.
Rank support roles in this order for most accounts:
- Luck support — more high-rarity Avatars and Champion crafts over a session. Pairs with luck potions rather than replacing them.
- Gem support — more summons without waiting on world drops. Gems are the bottleneck after the first hour.
- Coin support — faster Upgrade, Refine, and area unlocks. Coins stall more accounts than players admit.
- Damage support — extra idle DPS when your Avatar field is already A/S. Damage pets do not fix a C-tier field.
- Raw combat hatches — only keep these if they still show up after you already have luck, gem, and coin covered.
If two Champions share a role, keep the higher rarity and craft the rest. Do not run three weak coin pets because you “might need them later.”
Crafting duplicates beats hoarding
Hoarding every hatch is the slowest way to play this genre. Crafting recipes exist so duplicates become the next rarity band. A crafted Champion in a support role outscales a drawer of weak hatches that you never combine.
Practical rules:
- Lock the single best copy of each role you actually equip
- Feed extras of that role into the craft
- Do not craft away your only luck pet to chase a combat pose
- Do not sit on a full hatch inventory during a raid night — convert first, then farm
Mythical-style chase units are a goal in this genre. This wiki does not invent names or drop rates for them. When you hatch or craft into that band, treat it as S-equivalent support if it still does luck, gem, coin, or damage work. A mythical-style combat-only pet that you never craft around is still a trophy.
Use how to summon for the hatch flow, then how to upgrade so Champion levels do not lag the Avatar field. Raids and world bosses on how to raid are where you notice missing luck or gem support, because the timer is public and the 10-player server can see who is contributing.
S / A / B / C for Champions
The letter grades mean different things than they do for Avatars.
S — equipped support you never bench. Highest rarity you can sustain in luck, gem, or coin. Keep on the active Champion slots. Invest Upgrade. Trade for these if the Trade update listing is cheaper than hatching dry. Protect them in how to trade.
A — strong support worth hatching during potions. Damage support that still moves raids, or a second economy pet if you have a slot. Worth gems. Replace when a true S lands in the same role.
B — mid-game hatches that fill slots. Fine while you unlock early worlds. Stop leveling them the moment a duplicate craft would produce an A. Good craft food.
C — weak hatches and leftover combat pets. Inventory clutter. Craft or fodder. Do not trade for C-tier Champions unless you are completing a recipe and you know the output role.
World scaling still applies. A coin pet that printed on world one can be irrelevant after a later area changes coin sinks. Retest after Update 0.5 and after each world gate. The updates hub is the reminder to rerank roles, not models.
What Champions do not do
Champions do not replace Avatars. A perfect luck pet on a C-tier Avatar field still dies in a raid. Rank fighters first on the Avatar rankings, then fill support. Champions also do not replace potions. Drink luck and gem potions, then hatch. Redeem through how to redeem if the Shop Extra box is hiding.
Swords, skins, auras, and accessories stay on the Avatar loadout. Do not confuse a Champion’s appearance with those cosmetics. Promotional swordsman and shinobi shots are Avatar art direction.
If you are brand new, finish getting started and controls so you can hatch without fighting the HUD. Join Avatar Fighting Team for Auto Attack and Fast Machines; Fast Machines matter more for Champion loops than for posing. The Avatare-Hub and best Avatar picks tell you which fighters the pets are buffing. How-tos sit in the guides hub. Official links sit on wiki links. Idle-tool pages live under the scripts hub, with auto-farm and auto-summon notes — this list still expects you to craft, not hoard, even if a tool mashes the hatch button.
A Champion that prints coins, gems, or luck while you AFK is worth more than a pretty combat hatch you never craft. Duplicate into the next rarity. Chase mythical-style rolls when your economy can absorb the miss, not when you still need potions to clear the current world boss. Keep the Tier List Hub four questions for Avatars, and keep this page for the multiplier layer under them.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for codes, summons, raids, and upgrades.
Should I keep every Champion I hatch?
No. Lock the best copy of each support role, then craft duplicates. Hoarding weak hatches is slower than the craft loop on the Champion roster.
Is a damage Champion better than a luck Champion?
Usually no. Luck, gem, and coin support scale the whole account. Damage support is A-tier once your Avatar field is already strong on the Avatar rankings.
Do mythical-style Champions have names on this wiki?
No. Chase that rarity band as a goal, but this page does not invent official names or drop rates. Rank the role the unit actually provides.
When should I hatch Champions?
After you redeem codes and potions, and after you can already clear the current world with Auto Attack. Hatch steps sit in how to summon.
Can I trade Champions?
Yes. Trading is live after the Trade update. Move S-tier support carefully using how to trade; do not offer your only luck pet first.
